Trivia Question For Week Ending January 20th The Cleveland Indians stadium was recently renamed from Jacobs Field to Progressive Field, but what was the name prior to Jacobs Field?
Right after Progressive Ins. bought the naming rights, an Indians rep was on the radio with Mike Trivisonno and he mentioned that the stadium was very briefly named "Indians Park" before Dick Jacobs bought the rights. I however could not verify this anywhere, and I don't remember the name of the Indians guy on the radio. I sent an email to the Indians but of course no response yet! I therefore accepted all entries in the drawing process regardless of your answer. |
